Our AI matches employee expense claims with the corresponding receipt details, automating the expense reconciliation process. By automating the verification of amounts, dates, and payees, the system can detect duplicate submissions and flag expenses incurred at unauthorized establishments, thereby preventing fraudulent activities.

The AI cross-references receipt amounts from multiple perspectives to ensure accuracy. It also checks the consistency between the dates on the scanned receipts and the dates submitted in expense claims, ensuring expenses are reported within the company’s designated timeframe.

The system issues alerts based on internal policies, such as detecting duplicate submissions or identifying expenses at prohibited establishments.
Tips & Insight: Data Integration with Concur® Expense
Our AI engine, Robota, integrates seamlessly with the cloud-based expense management system Concur® Expense. It analyzes submitted receipt images and automatically matches them with the data entered into Concur® Expense. Discrepancies are flagged for review, significantly reducing the workload for approvers and accounting departments. Additionally, the system can detect duplicate submissions that may be overlooked during manual reviews, preventing payment errors. Looking ahead, we plan to implement a feature to verify registration numbers in compliance with Japan’s Qualified Invoice System, effective from 2023.
